How to Remove a Too Tight Jade Bangle Bracelet
You finally got your small jade bangle bracelet on, or you have been wearing one for years and now you want to remove, but it just won't come off. Before you resort to getting it cut off, try these techniques:
- Generously apply the greasiest lotion you have, or Vaseline. Then relax your arm and try to work the jade bracelet off. Do this in an area where if it pops off your arm and falls, it will be a soft surface.
- If that doesn't work, fill your sink or a bowl with cool, soapy water. Again, be very careful because if your jade bracelet comes off it might hit a hard surface and break.
- Another technique is to put a plastic bag over your hand, and pull the ends of it under the jade bracelet. Pull it tight enough to make the plastic as smooth as possible. Work the bracelet over the plastic and off your hand. You can also apply lotion or soapy water to help the process.
When you struggle to get a jade bangle off, you are applying considerable pressure and your bracelet may come off with a lot of force, so it might hit something hard. I sit on a bed or on a carpeted floor when I remove a too tight bangle. I have had bangles fly across the room and break, so I learned from experience.
Good luck. And I'd love to hear your hints for getting jade bangle bracelets on and off
