| This
is an old 1960's era jadeite necklace from Hong Kong. The deep green beads are
so translucent they seem to glow. The pendant looks like a gua
sha tool which I thought was interesting because customers who purchase gua
sha tools often ask me if I have one they can wear as a pendant. The smooth old
jadeite pendant is 78x36mm There's no hallmark on the gold, and I don't think
it's karat gold, which is odd for the nice quality of the jade in this. I like
to wear this with a black tank top to really show it off. This is a big piece
of jadeite, and feels wonderful, highly polished and icy cold. | | | |

pendant is also from the 1960's and from Hong Kong. It's a jade bangle, 45mm inside
and 65mm outside diameter with gold work twisted wire holding a variety of precious
and semi-precious gemstones. With light behind it, it really sparkles. I sometimes
advertise the baby bangle bracelets as an item
a girl can wear when she's older as a pendant. This is a jade bangle lover's dream
of a pendant. It's hallmarked 18k, which is the higher karat and more "gold"
color gold that Asian people prefer. I bought three similar pendants and have
one for sale in my vintage jade section. | | |

| There's
only been one trip to China that I didn't buy a bangle for myself, and on that
trip I splurged and bought this pendant. It's deep, deep green, almost black and
highly polished with a very light green carving of Guan Yin, Buddha of Compassion.
The pendant is 45x32mm, a large pendant but not too big to wear. I attached a
gold bale and used some high quality jadeite 10mm bead to make a flexible wire
choker necklace. This kind of jade pendant is higher priced and would retail for
$500 in the USA. This made a heavy necklace which feels good to wear. I can put
any of the pendants you purchase on a flexible wire necklace to make a unique
piece of jewelry, and some examples of the flexible wire
