While reorganizing the jade storage area last week, I came across a small box of small lavender jade bangle bracelets. There were no notes of their origin in the box, and I can't remember purchasing them, so they must have been in storage for a long time. And since they are small, most 52-54mm, I am guessing I set them aside for myself, since that's my size. But I really don't like to wear lavender jade. I LIKE lavender, but don't like to wear it, since I'm not Asian, it doesn't look good with my skin tone. And living in Florida where my skin tone is usually tanned, lavender just doesn't look good on my skin.Since they have the soft coloring, and it doesn't appear to have faded over the years they have been in storage, I will assume the color is natural, but will sell them for fairly low prices on the JadeBangleBracelets web site. While JBB has some fabulous gem quality jadeite bangles listed on it. it's also the web site that we use for "Bargain Bangles", our cheapest in price and quality, so we can offer a price range for everyone's budget. If you have a small wrist, want a nice quality lavender jadeite bangle, watch the Daily Special on YYJ, and the JBB web sites for the new listings. Lavender jade sells fast, so if you want one, don't wait. 20% of them already sold this weekend! June 23 Do you want to see what a pair
of $7 million dollar jade bangle bracelets look like? Here's an article
forwarded by a jade-loving friend about an auction for jade, click
here. And for all that worth, you would think they could have offered
a better photo! Jade sure is difficult to photograph. Sometimes when customers are asking questions about specific jade pieces, they comment that "there's something about jade that attracts me" without really being able to put those thoughts into words. If you are sensitive to qi energy, have awareness of your own body, mind and spirit, then that "something" is your body mind and spirit responding to the jade. And people who have this feeling will choose the jade that has the best qi energy for them. The eyes are seeing the jade, it's color and transmitting to their mind, and the energy travels to their spirit and we truly "feel" something. That's the piece of jade that should be on your wrist if it's a jade bangle, or with you if it's something else. The jade energy will blend with your body energy and give you the balance you needs. I bought BB2633 for myself, and since I bought it in China, I didn't want to show the seller how attracted I was to it so he wouldn't give me an outrageous price, and I didn't try it on. I put it in the pile of jade bangles I was bargaining with to purchase (there's never a price on jade in China, the final price is always bargained for). As soon as we got away from the seller, I unpacked it and put it on my wrist.....and cried because it was too big for me. But I kept it on the shelf in front of me in my office, and look at it, touch it daily. It's too nice to sit on my shelf and I can't wear it, so it's on the web site today. The price should actually be higher and it would sell for near $10,000 in China, but it needs a wrist. And someone out there needs it for the qi energy. June 18 A jade loving friend sent me a link to a story about the earth's history being found in gems, including jade. Gems contain clues to some profound questions about our planet. This article gives us an idea about why jade has different natural colors, because jade was formed in dying oceans. The minerals make the colors. As we describe on the page of our "old river jade" bangle bracelets, this jade is located near old river beds and you can see all the natural color. This is a photo from the article, which shows a person holding rough jade boulders in China, and you can see that it is Chinese jade. Some people claim that Chinese jade is not "real jade", that only jadeite from Burma is real jade, but the history of Chinese jade is much older than Burmese jadeite. And now, when it's so common practice to treat Burmese jadeite with acid to remove color, then add polymer to give it "good green" color, and other colors that are not even real jade color, Chinese jade has typically never been color treated in any way. That's why so many women who "know jade" just love the Chinese jade, and can feel the good qi energy that comes from this natural stone. Here's a link to the article, click here, and the photo below from it showing the Chinese jade boulders. Thanks, Karen, for sharing! June 14 We received a new shipment from China of pure and natural Chinese jade ben wa balls and eggs. These are our highest selling products, and not only USA but worldwide. Women not only get good feedback from using jade eggs or balls for kegel exercise, but they also get the healing qi energy of the jade stone. My doctor in China gave me a jade egg with instructions for using for pelvic health at least 10 years ago, and I have been using them regularly. They help with strength, dryness, I don't "leak" when I sneeze or laugh, and don't "gotta go", in fact I can sleep all night without getting up. And they take only a few minutes to use. I use mine while I take a shower. It took me several years to finally get them made correctly for quality and size, and in fact the AMA Urolgical group purchased these to display in their museum because the size, shape are so good for women. Even after all the years I have had them made for selling, every time I order there's always problem so they are difficult to obtain in a good quality jade with good quality carving. The jade pieces by themselves aren't expensive, but by the time I weed through the unsatisfactory pieces, and have them shipped, the price is very close to what we sell them for, and there's not much markup. But since there's a new shipment, it's Women's Health day here at YYJ and we offer a coupon for $3 off your purchase of $38+ with coupon code NOW3. So use your coupon NOW and order some so you, too, can improve your pelvic health with pure, natural jade ben wa balls, or jade eggs. June 11 I found a "Blogging for Dummies" Kindle book and borrowed it from my library to see what I could learn. This blog was started in 2004 before there were books written about blogging and the process was mostly learning as I did it. Back then, there weren't easy blogging platforms, free services to blog and include photos like Blogger, WordPress and others. I learned from reading blogs, and then used what seemed to work and just "went for it". Now, it would be so much easier to use one of the blogging platforms, but an awful lot of work to make the change. So I will keep this format, but wanted to make it better. So far, I haven't read about anything I would like to add. One of the features the blogger platforms offer is the ability for readers to leave comments. I used WordPress and Blogger for a different kind of blog I formerly wrote, and got SPAM all the time, totally irrelevant comments, and lots of links to other web sites. And I didn't think the privacy of the commentors was safe, or in fact if any of the content was safe. On our own Ying Yu Jade web site, all the content is safe. If you would like to make a comment, please do contact me at the email address below, and I will personally either add the comment, or use your comment as part of this blog, which is what I usually do. Most of the comments come from customers who place an order and refer to the blog in the comments box on the order form, or after a customer receives an order and is happy with it, or not happy, whatever the case. So please comment, and I will use your comment, as I do appreciate comments very much. June 9 If your are sensitive to your body qi energy and wear jade "as medicine", you will love the way magnetic therapy works with jade. People who do taichi, yoga, qigong or any of the wellness and spiritual practices are often very aware of their body energy and know when they start to feel "off balance" before they get really sick, and can do something to regain their balance. As soon as I start feeling off balance, like when my taichi practice isn't as smooth, I put on one of my pearl and magnet strands, and wear it as a necklace if it feels like my head or thyroid needs balancing, or if I feel generally out of sorts, I wear it as a bracelet. I have even worn it as an anklet when my legs hurt, when my fibromyalgia acts up. The white pearl and magnet Daily Special relates to the lung qi, and associated with metal, is helpful for healing yin, and for bone health. I also like to wear the colored pearls with my jade bangle bracelet. There's more information on this page, click here. And this is a good time of year to wear magnets for healing, to deal with weather changes and some of the wild weather changes that bring on body aches and pains. June 5 Men love and need the good qi energy from jade as much as women do! The most popular items men purchase for themself from Ying Yu Jade are the Chinese jade pendants and Burmese jadeite pendants. Men also like the jade gua sha tools for self massage, and the jade acu rollers. Men like jade carvings, especially the animals, and the three legged money toads, and jade flutes for their ascetic, soothing feng shui. One of my jade customer friends told me she bought a YYJ small jade turtle for a male Chinese doctor friend, and he tied a silk string on it and wore it around his neck, very happily. Chinese and Asian men love jade, but so do Western men. That's a reason we have some of the large 67-76mm jade bangle bracelets, because men wear jade bangles, too! So shop around and find a great jade gift for that special man in your life. And take $5 off if the order is $100+. Use coupon code DAD5 by June 5. June 2 The
Calm Spirit / Ying Yu Jade complete June newsletter is available online
now, click here. This month features Chinese medicine wellness information
for June regarding balance of body, mind and spirit. There is information
about what kind of jade to wear this month if you wear jade for your health,
and more. June 1 |
