Chef Morgan Mueller has worked at Bacar for almost 7 years and has recently taken over as Executive Chef. Chef Mueller has also previously worked under Chef Traci Des Jardins at Jardiniere. We'll set our long table deep in the forest, where master forager David Chambers will entertain us with forager's lore, the deepest well of human food knowledge. With his mastery of the woods, David will guide us on a short hike to see what is out there. Randall Graham of Bonny Doon Vineyard will pour wine made at his winery just down the way.
Outstanding in the Field events feature a leisurely tour of the
hosting farm followed by a five course, farm-style dinner at our long table set in a scenic spot. Dinner is accompanied by a wine paired with each course. Diners are joined at the table by the farmer, food producers, a winemaker and other local artisans associated with the meal.
