Our farm dinner adventure in the Paso Robles wine country will begin at Bill and Barbara Spencer's Windrose Farm, where we will enjoy a cool glass of wine and a leisurely tour of the Farm. Located in a secluded valley Windrose farm's myriad fruits and vegetables are prized by Central and Southern California's best chefs. After enjoying Bill and Barbara's hospitality, we will journey to the site of our table: Pasolivo Olive orchard located to the west, high in the Coastal Range. In 2007, Pasolivo was honored as one of the top ten olive oils in the world. Our guest chef is Deborah Scarborough of Black Cat Bistro in Cambria.
Outstanding in the Field events feature a leisurely tour of the
hosting farm followed by a five course, farm-style dinner at our long table set in a scenic spot. Dinner is accompanied by a wine paired with each course. Diners are joined at the table by the farmer, food producers, a winemaker and other local artisans associated with the meal.
